I am an evolutionary ecologist mainly interested in determining the causes of individual variation in life-history traits (behaviour, physiology, morphology, phenology), and revealing how these variations can translate to modification in species interactions, community structure, food-web functioning and ecosystem services efficiency. I focus on anthropogenic disturbances such as climate-change and land-use changes. My research aims to demonstrate the role plastic and evolutionary adjustments in organisms’ ability to cope with increasing global change pressures. I address these research themes using insects as model organisms and a combination of lab-based experiments and monitoring in natural or semi-natural contexts.
